Silverback, Idaho
EMX’s Silverback Project is a district scale target within Idaho’s historic Silver Valley, the second largest silver district in the world with recorded production of 1.2 billion oz Ag, 7.4 Mt Pb, and 3.8 Mt Zn¹’². Mesoproterozoic Belt-Purcell clastic units such as the Wallace, St. Regis, Revett, Burke, and Prichard Formations comprise the typical Silver Valley host rock package and these units outcrop across the Silverback land position.
EMX interprets that significant post-mineral right-lateral and normal faulting has displaced the upper portions of known mines (ex: Tamarack, Tiger-Poorman, Hecla), which are now preserved at Silverback.
Historical soil geochemistry reveals a large coincident Ag-Pb-Zn anomaly in the Revett-St.Regis Formations. EMX stream sediment samples also show widely anomalous Ag-Pb-Zn across the land position. Historical drilling on the property includes a 4.7 m intercept at 40% Zn, 7.4% Pb, and 5 opt Ag³.

*Nearby mines and deposits provide context for the project, but do not necessarily indicate similar size, styles or grade of mineralization within the project.
**EMX has not performed sufficient work to verify the historic Azteca Gold Corp. drill assay data reported above, however, the mineralization as reported are considered reliable and relevant.
***EMX stream sediment samples were collected in accordance with industry standard best practices. Samples are submitted ALS in Reno where they are prepped for analysis. Accredited control samples (blanks and accredited standards) are inserted into the sample intervals regularly. Samples are dried, weighed, crushed (70% < 2mm), and riffle split into two fractions. One is retained (coarse reject) and the other is pulverized to 85% < 75µm. Pulps (25g) are analyzed by ultra-trace ICP-MS (AuME-TL43).
