Moose Ridge, Idaho

The Moose Ridge project is located ~15 km northwest of Salmon Idaho and is an intrusion-related gold vein target. The host rocks are Proterozoic granite and quartzite, Cretaceous and Eocene intrusions cut by quartz-sericite-pyrite-arsenopyrite stockworks and disseminated zones located proximal to the Panther Creek shear zone (“PCSZ”). On strike of multi-Moz Beartrack deposit¹, primary control of mineralization is the PCSZ which continues onto EMX property.

Ground magnetics yielded broad mag-lows (magnetite destruction from sericitic alteration) associated with Beartrack mineralization in PCSZ. Mag-high at intrusion related stockwork immediately west of Beartrack at Arnett. Beartrack bulk tonnage mineralization is also responsive to IP/Resistivity techniques.

Located in a mining-friendly jurisdiction, the nearby Beartrack Mine oxide heap leach operation produced 600 Koz Au¹ in the 1990’s. Widespread placer gold throughout property with unidentified lode source.
