Yerington West - Roulette, Nevada

Yerington West is a porphyry copper project located in the Yerington Mining District of western Nevada. Historic Anaconda work from the 1960-1980s produced a highly-constrained structural and geologic framework, highlighting untested targets throughout the district. Much of the district remains covered by post-mineral sedimentary and volcanic units. EMX is targeting a concealed porphyry center related to an exposed dike swarm with associated skarn mineralization.

Tertiary faults have significantly dismembered and extended the district, which contains a cluster of porphyry copper (Mo) systems centered on a Jurassic granitic pluton. Fault-bound deposit pieces include the past-producing Yerington and McArthur mines (Anaconda), and the undeveloped Bear-Lagomarsino and Ann Mason deposits, in addition to several IOCG-type targets such as Pumpkin Hollow (Nevada Copper).

Yerington West is under option to Hudbay Minerals Inc. (formerly Mason Resources and Entrée Gold), where Hudbay can earn up to an 80% interest in the project by completing a feasibility study, and by completing yearly minimum work commitments or making Advanced Production Payments. Once Hudbay has earned into the project, EMX can convert its interest to a 2.5% NSR. Hudbay has the option to purchase 1.5% of the NSR for US$4.5M.

Drilling on the EMX property intersected high-temperature porphyry-related alteration and mineralization, consistent with a distal porphyry-related signature.

*Nearby mines and deposits provide context for the project, but do not necessarily indicate similar size, styles or grade of mineralization within the project.
